Please read through our process of web design, this will help you understand every step involved in getting a website online and why you might consider Westside Web Design for your project.

Obviously the first steps you need to decide on are what will your website be about, what information do you want to include on your website? Do you think you will require a shopping cart or an image gallery, will you need to update your website regularly? We have created an article titled Steps To Prepare to help you decide on important factors for your website. This will help you think about a few things maybe you haven't already.

After deciding on what you want to include on your website, the next step will be how do you want your website to look. A good way to get an idea of what you like is to visit a lot of websites that contain similiar content that you will have. For example: If you own a flower shop and intend on getting a website created, go to a search engine and type in flowers, 1000's of websites will be listed, visit some and take note on the ones you really like and what it is that you like about them, do you like the color, menu, flash or no flash. Most web designers will ask you to list some websites that you really like as it helps us figure out what style of website appeals to you most.
