To get your website on the world wide web you will require a hosting service to host your website. Westside Web Design does not provide hosting but can recommend an excellent web host. When deciding on who to host with there are some important factors to remember before purchasing your hosting plan, ensure your account will have mySQL Databases and FTP Accounts. If you plan on having an image gallery, store or a 100 other options a mysql Database is required for these various programs to work. An FTP Account will ensure the easiest way to upload new files to your hosting space.

Have you thought of the name of your website yet? Chances are the name will also be your domain name. Example: Westside Web Design is our business name and our domain name is westsideweb.ca Because we are in Canada we opted to have a .ca rather than a .com. Think your domain name over very well and try to think of 3 or more variations of the name in case your first choice is not available.
